John Montesi New Deal Slick Bad Dream Skateboard Deck WestSide Blind World 101
This John Montesi deck is from 2003. Sometime in 2002 John had come across the original film used to make the graphic in the very early 90's.
At the time nobody had made a slick for several years. With the help of some friends in the industry we were able to make a slick the very same way manufactures did in the 90's. I was and still really impressed with how these came out.
The graphic is actually much sharper and clearer than johns original that hangs at Westside skateshop. We made around 100, John signed each one and i numbered them.
The project was a labor of love. I really wanted one for my collection and knew it was a long shot to find one. I recently unpacked my collection and noticed i had a few of these. I thought it was time to pass this one along.
